Kop Hill Climb Virtual Event launches “Every Pound is Precious” Appeal

The Kop Hill Climb Organising Committee is delighted to announce that there will be a Virtual Event taking place on the KHC Facebook page on Sunday, September 20. It will commence at 10:00 and finish at 17:00. You are warmly invited to join us.

It will comprise a visual feast of stills and video clips covering the history of the event from its early beginnings right through to 2019. Some of the celebrities who have given generously of their time over those years have done so again, so watch out for their recorded messages during the day. Don’t forget to turn your volume to max!

This Virtual Event launches our “Every Pound is Precious” Appeal, the first-ever in the history of the event. The charities we have supported over the past eleven years need our help, and your help, more than ever. So, if you have fond memories of the event, do please donate whatever you can afford using the link on the Facebook page or the KHC website. Every pound really is precious to them. Next year’s event, held on September 18/19, will mark the 110th Anniversary of the first-ever climb in 1910.
